Brand new SJA homepage

August 30, 2009

The Sarah Jane Adventures official website (www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/sja) has been updated to a newer, better and snazzier web page!

Before the change… The background was Sarah Jane’s attic door with post-it notes and and ‘micro mr. smith’ on the bulletin board. There was a to-do list of things to do around the site which included ‘get the lowdown’ with the cast, watching videos and games.

Now… As you can see for yourselves, there’s a huge image of the SJA gang and Slitheen along the top of the page. There are loads of new games (like a trailer maker, that I have yet to try out!) and character biographies!

In other news, I bought a Sarah Jane audiobook today (The Ghost House) and I’m enjoying it so far! Liz Sladen is a great narrator and the storyline is really good too.

Sarah Jane’s appearance in Hotel Trubble

August 19, 2009

Today when I was watching Hotel Trubble (I don’t usually, honest) I saw the Sarah Jane Adventures gang wishing Mr. Trubble a happy birthday! The episode of Hotel Trubble that was on today has just appeared on BBC iplayer.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine (when I bought my first one I was on holiday in England), so I haven’t got any of the news first-hand. And it’s bad to copy off other blogs so I’m going to recommend going to Sarah-Jane tv (sarahjanetv.blogspot.com) for a list of the episode names in series 3! Series 3’s only a month and a half away now.

Doctor Who magazine

August 17, 2009

The next issue of Doctor Who magazine comes out tomorrow (18th August). If you haven’t bought the current issue, it might not be too late to buy it? The current issue has loads of information about the Sarah Jane Adventures (page 6)! I’ve got most of the page about series 3 that was in the magazine here, in the ‘Special appearances’ article.

If you’re planning on buying it tomorrow, make sure you don’t confuse it with Doctor Who Adventures magazine (which is aimed at 8-12 year olds) like I did! 🙂

Above: The new audiobooks, coming out later this year! There are other audiobooks available online from the Sarah Jane Adventures, all read by Elisabeth Sladen, like ‘The Glittering Storm’ and ‘The Time Capsule’.
